Come as You Are and Experience God's Welcome

Welcome

Grace Pasadena is a worshipping community in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. We are committed to the belief that Jesus Christ and his good news are true, compelling and transforming.  We are a gathered people from all walks and stages of life, held together by the common bond of God's love toward us in Jesus Christ.

Whether or not you consider yourself a Christian, we want to join you as you consider the claims of Jesus Christ and his great love for us. We want to gather together to listen to God, to share our hopes and burdens in prayer, and to feast and celebrate together. We want to live with with you even if you've never been to church, been away from church, or don't know what to do or what to say.  Grace Pasadena is for people just like you.

What To Expect

Grace Pasadena  is a warm, welcoming community—regardless of your background, beliefs, or life situation. Come as you are and be transformed by the love of Jesus Christ! We look forward to welcoming you to our Sunday worship and other aspects of our community.

Sunday Worship

Worship at Grace Pasadena  is a blend of the old and the new—in both our liturgy and our music. By using prayers, texts, and tunes shared by God's people across centuries, continents, and cultures, we acknowledge our place in the larger story of God's work in his world. By also incorporating prayers and songs from our own community, we celebrate God's presence and activity among us now in this city.

The highlight of our weekly service is the sacrament of Communion, also known as the Lord's Table. We invite all Christians who are baptized and call Jesus Lord to feast with him and his people. Through this sacrament we are spiritually nourished and tangibly taste and see that the Lord is good.

Children in Worship

Kids of all ages are encouraged to participate in worship as fully as they can. Families worship together until the Passing of the Peace. At that time, children ages 0 to 5th grade are invited to participate in our Grace Children's Ministry. We also offer Middle School classes during the service three times a month. Children, teachers and other volunteers return to the service after the sermon in time for Communion, the final songs and the benediction.
